Rehabilitating the Classroom: A Candid Look at Education Reform
Most community foundations strive to impact education with strategic grantmaking. What is working, and what isn't working in the quest for education reform? We will examine this topic during the opening plenary session at the Council on Foundations Fall Conference, and invite you to participate in an interactive town hall forum on this issue. Hosted by Terry Mazany, president and CEO, Chicago Community Trust, and former Chicago public schools superintendent, this online session will allow offsite foundation colleagues to watch the plenary through live streamed video, to ask the speakers questions before and during the Q&A, and vote on ideas. We hope to extend this important conversation about education to people who otherwise aren't able to travel to the conference. Pass it on!
